Agrawal introduced whistleblower Zatko as ``a former Twitter executive who was fired in January 2022 due to ineffective leadership and poor performance.'' In addition, although it is investigating the article reporting the whistleblower complaint by Mr. Zatko, it is described as ``full of contradictions and inaccuracies, and false content that ignores important context.'' I was responsible in many ways when I was working at Twitter, but now, more than six months after being fired, I'm making inaccurate statements, so it's frustrating and confusing to read articles. I understand,' he said.
A Twitter spokesperson also told CNN, ``Mr. The content of the whistleblowing is denied in the same text as the e-mail I received. The spokesperson added, 'Zatko's allegations and opportunistic timing appear intended to draw public attention and harm Twitter, its users and shareholders. Security and privacy are important to Twitter. It has been a priority for many years and will continue to be so.'
However, CEO Agrawal has not clarified at the time of writing the article which part of the content Mr. Zatko has accused is false.
