The man in question was reportedly a 35-year-old Hispanic who visited the emergency department of Bronx Care Hospital in New York City, USA, for three days of intolerable penile and scrotal pain. At the time of my visit, my penis was swollen, bleached, necrotic, and ulcerated, and I was in a state of severe pain in the groin (base of the thigh) and right leg.
