'Pictogram Challenge' review that anyone can easily become a pictogram of the Tokyo Olympics



At the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, it became a hot topic that performers wearing special costumes expressed the competition in pictograms. A web app that anyone can become as 'Pictogram-san', which has

gained popularity overseas, has been released by Toshiki Tomihira, who studies deep learning and natural language processing at the University of Tsukuba.

When you open the URL, you will first be asked to access the camera, so click 'Allow'.



Then, the in-camera starts like this. You can switch between in-camera and out-camera from the upper right of the screen, so click.

When I actually made various poses in front of the camera, Pictogram sometimes responded with the same movement as a human, and sometimes it did not respond subtly. When I raised my hands, I lifted them up by the position of my head.

There are 6 tasks in total, and if you can adjust the timing of the poses well, you can put the pictogram in the round icon. When the game was over, 'Try again', 'Save photo', and a Tweet button were displayed.
