Communication tool 'Solotta-san' that provides a theme that excites conversation and 'Sitter-san' play review that reads the other party's thoughts
The card game 'Solotta-san ', entitled 'A Game for Understanding People Who Like You', appeared on April 21, 2021 (Wednesday). I was curious about the catch phrase, 'Make sure the conversation is lively !?', so I actually gathered 5 people to play.

The appearance of the box looks like this.
The target age for play is 14 years old and over, the number of players is 3 to 8, and the estimated play time is 20 minutes.
The contents are like this, in addition to the instruction manual, there are a total of 80 cards of 8 types and 24 solota sheets filled out by the player.
The card contains questions for each genre and two to five answer options for each question.
The white card is for free entry.
When playing, select 10 of the cards to make a deck. It has been decided that the 5th and 10th sheets will be 'critical', but other than that, any number of sheets of any genre is OK. You can use any combination, such as adding more romance cards or removing romance when playing with family and relatives.
Distribute Solotta sheets and writing utensils to each player.
After that, someone will be the facilitator of the game, flipping through the cards from the deck and reading them aloud. Each player chooses an option that is close to his or her idea for the question and fills it out at the top of the Solotta sheet at hand. At this time, instead of filling in quickly, it is OK for the players to discuss with each other, such as 'This is the option, isn't it?' 'This isn't there.' Rather, one of the points is to turn the card and talk on the theme shown.
When you have finished filling out, raise your index finger saying 'I have decided!'.
When everyone makes a 'decided!' Call, the facilitator reads out the options in order from A, and each player replies 'yes!' To the option he / she entered, and the player who chose the same option as himself / herself. Check the box. If there is no one, do not check it. Each check is 1 point, and the 5th and 10th questions are 2 points.
After completing 10 questions, perform calculations on each sheet to see who is your 'Solotta-san' with the highest points. I do not refer to numbers other than Mr. Solotta. If the points are tied, there may be more than one Solotta.
After that, everyone stands up and the facilitator calls the total value in order from 1. Each player will be seated by calling their opponent's name when their 'Solotta-san' points are called. In the case of the following example, at 6, the squid girl player will call 'squid and droid' and the droid player will call 'squid' and sit down.
By repeating this, the pair who stood until the end becomes 'Best Solotta'.
When I played it, it wasn't a game where everyone matched the options, but a 'communication tool' that found people who matched their ideas. However, maybe because there are many mild questions so that no one will be uncomfortable playing, I may wonder, 'Well, that's the option,' but I rarely get caught up in 'Why that !?' Whether or not the story swells from the beginning is a big impression on the player's arm. However, many of the questions in the 'critical' genre were quite extreme, and I felt that it was easy to get excited about the two camps.
In addition, although there is no description in the manual, the special rule 'Sittel-san' was posted on the official website, so I also played with it.

According to this rule, players are divided into 'answerers' and 'anticipators'. First, the respondent chooses five cards to use as the theme.
The predictor predicts how the respondent will answer each card's question. If the answer is correct, you will get 1 point, and after 5 questions, you will change the offense and defense, and the one with the higher points will become 'Sitter-san'.
It seems more interesting for people who know each other because it is easier to make predictions if you know the respondents in detail, but even if you do not know each other, you can chat and draw hints that will lead to prediction of answers Such bargaining occurs and it gets excited. In addition, although the respondents are supposed to choose the theme according to the rules described, there is also an arrangement that the predictor chooses the theme and dares to mix questions that the respondents would avoid. In addition, the game of 'Who is this person's' Sitter-san '' was also lively, as expected by multiple people.
'Solotta-san' is sold at Amazon.co.jp for 1900 yen including tax.
