Twitter is testing and implementing 'Tip Jar', a money-throwing function that allows you to pay your favorite users
On May 6, 2021, Twitter announced that it has started to provide some users with a function 'Tip Jar ' that allows you to throw money to users who have been considering it for some time. The iOS and Android apps allow users to send tips directly to their favorite accounts.

You can send tips by linking with services such as Bandcamp, Cash App, Patreon, PayPal, and Venmo.

It was reported that Twitter was considering introducing this Tip Jar in February 2021.

At the time of writing the article, Tip Jar is provided only to some users in the United States. Tip Jar is still in the testing stage, and a security issue has already been reported that 'when you pay for a tip with PayPal, you can see the recipient's address'.

Twitter acknowledged the issue and began fixing it, saying, 'We have a tip display and help center to make it clear that information may be shared between the sender and the recipient on a third-party app. We are updating. '
