Ingenuity is an unmanned helicopter developed to fly in the environment of Mars, where gravity is one-third that of the Earth and atmospheric pressure is about 1% of the Earth. You can find out more about the features and objectives of Ingenuity right after landing on Mars in the following articles:

NASA has published a photo recording the moment when Ingenuity separates from Perseverance. The following shows how the protective cover of Ingenuity was removed on March 21, 2021 and dropped to the surface of Mars.
After that, on March 29, 2021, the Ingenuity was released from the storage part and became a vertical posture.
On March 30, 2021, all four legs on the Ingenuity were unfolded and ready to land on the surface of Mars.
And on April 4, 2021, Ingenuity decided to act completely differently from Perseverance.
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) official Twitter account said, 'The landing of a Mars helicopter has been confirmed. After a 471 million km journey of Persavierance, from a height of 10 cm to the surface of Mars. It was dropped, 'posted a voice of joy. 'The next milestone is to go through the night,' he said, hoping that Ingenuity will be able to withstand the harsh Martian environment.

According to NASA, the temperature on Mars can drop to minus 90 degrees Celsius. Since electronic devices may not work as expected in cold environments, Ingenuity is equipped with a heater to heat the electronic device and a battery that powers the heater. The battery was 100% charged before it was separated from the perseverance. In addition, after the separation, we plan to supply power by solar power generation and keep the electronic devices at the optimum temperature.
Ingenuity will make its maiden flight on Mars on April 11, 2021, and the first flight data will reach Earth on April 12, 2021.
