As of version 83, it used Rosetta 2's emulation feature, but since version 84 it has been natively compiled for Apple Silicon CPUs. As a result, Firefox's startup speed has doubled, and the responsiveness of web applications has also doubled. To use natively compiled Firefox, you need to manually restart Firefox once after updating to version 84 or higher.

To check if the Firefox you are using is the Apple Silicon version, enter 'about: support' in the address bar. If the 'Rosetta Translated' item is 'false', it means Firefox for Apple Silicon.
