Hisanori Yoshida, an announcer of Nippon Broadcasting System, is in charge of the general moderator of the event. Following Mr. Yoshida, Mr. Daiki Sakurai, Netflix Anime Chief Producer, gave the opening remarks. Netflix's creative team specializing in anime was established in 2017 by Mr. Sakurai alone. We are expanding our partnership with Production IG and Bonds in 2018, Anima, Sublimation and David Production in 2019, and NAZ, Science SARU, Studio Mir and MAPPA in 2020.
On the data side, the number of households playing anime on Netflix in 2020 is more than 100 million worldwide, an increase of 50% compared to 2019. Anime has a large number of views worldwide and has made it into the top 10 in about 100 countries and regions. 'The Seven Deadly Sins' and 'Baki' are popular as works. In Japan, about half of Netflix members watch anime for 5 hours in a month.

◆ 02: Godzilla SP [Cingular Point]
The completely new TV animation 'Godzilla SP [Singular Point]' of 'Godzilla' will be exclusively distributed on Netflix in the spring of 2021 (preceding Japan). The teaser art was unveiled for the first time at the event.

I was instantly fascinated by the appearance of only one human being living with a robot.
