Looking to the future of app stores, Microsoft has announced that it will adopt 10 principles, such as 'do not block competing stores' and 'do not block apps because of content or service delivery methods.' Some of these include things that are conscious

of Epic Games and Apple in proceedings, such as 'charge a reasonable price' and 'do not force developers to sell what they don't want to sell.'

The 10 principles announced by Microsoft are as follows.

01: Developers are given the freedom to choose whether to distribute Windows apps through Microsoft's app store. Microsoft does not block competing app stores on Windows.
02: We do not block apps from Windows depending on the delivery method and business model, such as whether the content is installed on the device or streamed from the cloud.
03: We don't block based on what payment method the developer used to process the purchase in the app.
04: Microsoft will give developers timely access to information about the interoperability interfaces that Microsoft uses on Windows, as defined by the Interoperability Principles .
05: All developers have access to the app store as long as they meet objective criteria and requirements such as security, privacy, quality, content and digital safety.
06: Microsoft's app store charges a reasonable fee that reflects competition from other app stores on Windows, forcing developers to sell what they don't want to sell in-app There is none.
07: Microsoft's app store does not prevent developers from communicating directly with users through apps for legitimate business purposes.
08: Microsoft's app store keeps its own apps on the same basis as competing apps.
09: Microsoft will not use private information about the app or data from the app store to compete.
10: Microsoft's app store keeps transparency on rules, policies and opportunities for promotion and marketing, operates consistently and objectively, notifies changes and uses a fair process to resolve disputes Make it possible.

Microsoft announced this principle: 'For software developers, the app store is an important gateway to the world's most popular digital platforms. We and others have apps on other digital platforms.
