'1/1 cup noodle plastic model' that looks too real, I actually made it

Bandai's ' BEST HIT CHRONICLE 1/1 Cup Noodle Plastic Model ', which is a plastic model of Nissin '

Cup Noodle ', which is a standard cup noodle, was released on September 18, 2020. It means that you can make cup noodles that look exactly like the real thing with your own hands, so I actually made it.

The outer box of the 1/1 cup noodle plastic model shows how the cup noodle plastic model is dynamically assembled.

Opened.

The various parts and stickers included in the package look like this.

I will assemble while actually looking at the instruction manual. All you need is a nipper to separate various parts from the framework called a runner. Also, I prepared tweezers because it is convenient to have them when sticking stickers.

First, separate the necessary parts from the runner ...

Remove the gate that connects the runner and the parts to make it beautiful.

First created from the top of the cup of cup noodles.

Match the grooves between the parts ...

Push it in tightly and fit it firmly.

Fit the gold pattern so that the teeth fit together ...

Push it in to complete.

Next is the base part. Stack the parts so that the grooves and holes fit together.

Attach the gold pattern on the bottom too ...

Now the cup is up and down. There are still a lot of processes left, but just the appearance of this pattern gives it a 'cup noodle-like' appearance.

Next, we will put the alphabet in the frame of the 'CUP NOODLE' logo in the center of the side.

Insert C, P, N, etc. into the groove at a slight angle according to the instruction manual ...

Push it in with your finger.

Once you have fitted all the alphabets, apply the alphabet logo to the front of the side of the cup.

Below that, put the 'Cup Noodle' logo ...

The front of the side is completed.

At this stage, some of the 'ka' of the cup noodles are white. I will put a sticker here later.

Next, create the back side of the side. Put the JAS mark etc. on the plain base.

Connect this to the top and bottom of the package ...

Also fit the front side of the side ...

The cup is completed.

Ingredients are slightly engraved with grooves.

Next, make noodles. First, combine the four noodle parts ...

Make the core part of the noodles.

There are grooves on the top, sides, and bottom of this core part, so we will attach the noodle parts that match the grooves.

The finished noodles look like this.

Fill the noodles straight, being careful not to tilt them.

Next is the process of sticking a sticker on the cup.

Remove the sticker from the sheet ...

Paste it. In the instruction manual, it was written that 'it is convenient to use tweezers etc.', but it is practically indispensable because it will be attached to quite small parts.

A huge sticker with barcodes, cautionary notes, allergy notations, etc.

The part where the sticker is to be attached has a slight streak of letters dug like a draft, so attach it carefully.

Stick the expiration date sticker on the bottom side. The best-by date was '∞ month 03, ∞ ∞'.

After sticking the sticker, the cup looks almost real.

Next, add the ingredients. Just separate the mysterious meat and eggs from the runners.

On the other hand, shrimp was the most difficult part of the whole process. The shrimp parts are mostly monochromatic, as shown below ...

A structure in which a sticker is attached to make it look like the real thing.

However, the shrimp parts are three-dimensionally uneven, and there is no guide for attaching the sticker. The instruction manual also says, 'Put the shrimp sticker carefully according to the shape,' which is virtually no hint.

The result of pasting it very carefully is like this. The seal on the back side does not engage, but it is unknown whether it is such a design or a matter of competence in the first place.

Unlike other ingredients, only green onions are not plastic parts, but materials like baran contained in supermarket sushi.

Cut it so that it becomes two from the center ...

Cut into pieces of your choice.

Put eggs, shrimp, mysterious meat, and green onions on the top of the package ...

The contents are completed.

The last closes the lid.

The lid is a sticker, so peel it off ...

Petari.

The completed '1/1 cup noodle plastic model' looks like this. It took about 3 hours to create it while shooting.

With a gimmick that the front of the cup is removable.

In addition, the same lid stopper seal as the actual cup noodle is attached ...

It can be reproduced during cooking.

Below is a side-by-side view of the real cup noodles (on the left). Real cup noodles have a brighter white or gold pattern on the cup itself.

On the back, the size of the 'Cup Noodle' logo and the presence or absence of the '

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) ' certification mark are different.

Ingredient display etc. are completely the same.

The contents are very different in appearance. The real cup noodles had more ingredients and were spiced with powder.

The texture makes it clear that it is a plastic model when you hold it in your hand, but it looks completely cup noodles, and there is no discomfort even on the food rack. You can enjoy the unique experience of 'making cup noodles with your own hands', in which realistic cup noodles are assembled as the process progresses.

'BEST HIT CHRONICLE 1/1 Cup Noodles' will be shipped sequentially from September 18, 2020 (Friday). The selling price is 2420 yen including tax.
