'Yokohama om gyudon' is the first sukiya history topping with warm eggs, and the cheese omelet is completely swallowed by the powerful taste of gyudon.
The ' Yokohama Homme Gyudon, ' which is the first Sukiya restaurant in the gyudon chain to match a warm egg with a beef bowl, was launched on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. It is said that it is a Western-style beef bowl with omelette wrapped with cheese and spinach in eggs as it is, so actually buy and eat to see how compatible the beef bowl and omelet is. Saw.
'Yokohama Homme Gyudon' Newly released from 9 am on Wednesday, August 5 | Sukiya
Arrived at Sukiya.
At the store, there was a banner to inform the arrival of Yokohama Homme Gyudon.
It is an average serving (520 yen) of Yokohama om gyudon that I ordered with takeout and brought back.
On top of the beef bowl is a yellow omelet wrapped in green spinach and cheese.
The ketchup did not hang from the beginning, but a bag was included separately.
First of all, I will try eating without ketchup. Certainly, you can feel the flavor of spinach and cheese, but most of them have been swallowed by the deep seasoning of the beef bowl, giving the impression that it is a cheese beef bowl with very little habit. Because it contains cheese, the omelet part is not fluffy, but moist.
Next time I tried ketchup.
The red color of the ketchup shines against the yellow color of the omelet and the green color of the spinach, giving it a gorgeous appearance.
The taste when ketchup was not applied did not change much from the usual beef bowl, but when the sweetness of the ketchup was added, the subtle bitterness of the spinach and the richness of the cheese were emphasized, certainly compared to the usual beef bowl. You can feel a slightly Western atmosphere. However, since there are still few eggs, I had the impression that most of the taste of the beef bowl was swallowed before the affinity with the omelet was demonstrated.
Yokohama Homme Gyudon is available at Sukiya's nationwide stores from Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
