A white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, killed a black man George Floyd's neck with his knees for eight minutes, resulting in a violent attack that led to racist assault by police throughout the United States Demos protesting are expanding .
Following the Minneapolis riots, Apple has announced a temporary closure of most US retail stores for employee and customer safety. In addition, it seems that multiple Apple Stores have already been targeted for demonstration, and damage such as store destruction and product looting has been done.
Apple is temporarily closing several retail stores across the United States on May 31, 2020 (Sunday), and for those stores with significant damage, it will extend the closure period indefinitely.
Although Apple has 271 retail stores throughout the United States, all stores have been temporarily closed in accordance with the new corona virus measures, and 140 stores out of all the stores were restarted. However, the Minneapolis uprising has caused the Apple Store in Minneapolis to suffer two plunders.
