Razer collaborated with Pokemon and announced yellow wireless earphones which is the image color of Pikachu. Like Apple's AirPods , this wireless earphone can be placed in a wireless charging case to charge the battery, and the wireless charging case has a monster ball type design. The shape of the wireless earphone is the same as Razer's Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Earbuds , with the emblem on the side.
The driver unit, which is the heart of the wireless earphones that converts electrical signals back into sound, is equipped with a 13mm driver unit that provides clear, balanced sound and bass. In addition, it functions as a passive noise reduction (a function that enhances sound insulation) because it is IPX4-equivalent to waterproofing and the part that touches the ear is made of silicon. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and automatically pairs with smartphones, etc., and realizes low latency connection. In addition, it is possible to operate using touch or voice assistant.
The Monster Ball type wireless charger has an LED indicator in the center and displays different lights depending on the battery status. The wireless earphones and charging case use an electromagnetic contact type charging design, so charging can be started with a light touch. The wireless earphones can be used for about 3 hours with one charge, and the battery can last up to 15 hours using the charging case.
The release date is April 16, 2020 (Thursday), and the selling price is 849 yuan (about 13,000 yen). It is scheduled to be sold in China, and handling in Japan is unknown.
