Firefox has passed through three pre-release channels: “Nightly”, “Beta”, and “Developer Edition” before releasing the stable version, but due to changes in the release cycle, the cycle of the pre-release channel will also be shortened. For this reason, Mozilla calls for support from pre-release channel users.
The stable release cycle of rival Google Chrome is about 6 to 8 weeks.
