"Purl is a movie about whereabouts" is told by Gillian Libbert, a producer involved in the movie " Wally ."

It was Mr. Kristen Lester , Purl's first director, who was responsible for screenplay & director.

The place where Pearl works is not a fantasy world, but a place close to reality as much as possible. So the office was designed contemporary.

Originally Mr. Lester was doing art called Yarn bombing which wraps various objects with wool and changes the texture of things. Purl was born by combining the movie " working girl " in the 1980s and " 9 o'clock to 5 o'clock " with Yarn bombing.
