I tried using Google Chrome extension "Fastr" to speed up page display speed of website

When browsing a page with a web browser, various data in addition to visible sentences and images are exchanged between the PC and the server. "Fastr"Is an extension for Google Chrome that speeds browsing as a result of shortening the time by omitting some of those interactions when reloading. It is distributed free of charge at GitHub and Chrome Web Store.

◆ Install Fastr
Launch Chrome and visit the Chrome Web Store above and click "Add to Chrome".

A popup will be displayed, so click "Add Extension".

It will be completed if a pop-up "Fastr has been added to Chrome" is displayed along with the rocket icon at the top right.

◆ I tried using
In order to verify how much reload speed is changing when Fastr is enabled and not, we use an extension "Page load time" for Chrome that can measure page load time.

Page load time - Chrome Web Store

I deleted all of the cache of Chrome beforehand and loaded the top page of GIGAZINE and checked how much page display speed is changing between when I disabled Fastr and when it turned on the following image. Reload time when left is invalid, reload time when right is valid. It is about 4 seconds earlier when it is valid than when it is invalid.

However, when trying on the article page, the difference was slightly smaller than the comma in a few seconds.

Actually introducing Fastr, although it was slightly faster in some cases, it seems that it did not have such a thing whether it was able to experience the effect on every page, and whether Web browsing could be explosive It was a rather subtle place.
