This image captured the "sperm bot" heading to cervical cancer tumor on a petri dish. Sperm bot is a small magnetic harness attached to sperm and anticancer drug is given to sperm.
Induction of the sperm bot is done by magnetic force. When reaching the tumor, the harness comes off and the sperm rushes into the tumor.
In this method, 87% of cancer cells died in 3 days, while side effects such as fatigue and nausea did not occur when chemotherapy was performed. According to Haifeng Xu et al., There is a possibility that it can be used for treatment of endometriosis and extrauterine pregnancy, in addition to cancer.
