A gigantic snow image such as Cairo · Len and BB - 8 appears in "Sapporo Snow Festival", and a ceremony attended by Darth Vader

At the "68th Sapporo Snow Festival" held from Monday, February 6, 2017 to Sunday, December 12, 2017, a huge snow stone supervised by Lucasfilm "White Star Wars"Will be released. Today · Darth · Vader and Stormtrooper attended the opening ceremony held on February 5 and excited the venue.

The announced "White Star Wars" is a huge snow image of 18 m in height, 24 m in width and 20 m in depth, shaped like R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8 and Cairo Len. In this year's Snow Festival, the largest snow statue, about 2,700 people worked in about one month. The amount of snow used was 3500 tons.


Darth Vader and three stormtroopers who showed up at the opening ceremony. He looked up at the snow image of Cairo Len and he seemed to be deeply nodded.


After this, "Super Lighting Show" expressing the world view of the movie was held, and cheers cheered from the audience gathered.


The super lighting show will be held from 17:30 to 21:30 during the "Sapporo Snow Festival" period.

"Star Wars / Last Jedi", the latest movie of the "Star Wars" series, is released on Walt Disney Japan distribution on Friday 15th December 2017.
