Arrived at the exhibition booth at AQUOS Xx.


This is currently under development AQUOS Xx. The size is 79 mm wide × 146 mm long × 8.7 mm thin, weighs about 168 g, OS is equipped with Android 5.0. The CPU is an octa core of MSM 8994 2.0 GHz + 1.5 GHz.


Three types of colors are available: Red, White, Amber Black.


It is equipped with a large screen about 5.7 inches full HD (1920 x 1080) S-CG Silicon liquid crystal display, but it fits within the size you can have with one hand by the narrow frame design "EDGEST" thinned to the limit.


In the lower part of the front bezel there is the "AQUOS" logo and a sub camera with approximately 2.1 million pixels.


The back made of glass makes it feel slippery.


On the back upper part is the main camera and NFC logo. The main camera is a camera with about 13.1 million pixels, which acquired Ricoh's image quality improvement certification program "GR certified", it is possible to shoot super slow motion images up to 40 times.


The side is covered with a metal frame, there is an earphone jack and MicroSD card slot on the top.


When opening the lid of the card slot it looks like this. It corresponds to microSD cards of up to 128 GB. The ROM is 32 GB and the RAM is 3 GB.

The operation of the grip sensor can be changed from "grip setting".

When "Turning screen rotation" is on and tilting the terminal with the sensor caught from both sides, "Screen rotation inhibiting operation in progress" is displayed and the rotation of the screen is automatically locked. It seems to be useful when you operate a smartphone while lying down.


AQUOS Xx has a newly developed backlight "S-PureLED" on the display part, especially that the color of blue has improved.


When actually displaying the pictures, the blue color was clearly projected while also checking the vividness of red and green.
