Blue bottle is not just San Francisco's third wave coffee situation

Since there is a Silicon Valley in the vicinity and there is soil where IT people support coffee, in San Francisco a coffee shop with a roast tariff that sticks to taste and interior is prominent. Besides blue bottle coffee, "Ritual Coffee Roaster"FOURBARRE COFFEE"Sightglass Coffee"Is called the 4 largest coffee shop, and I am especially gaining support. I went to the shop to see the atmosphere and taste.

To the Ritual Coffee Roaster, a red signboard is a landmark. As the owner is a woman, many IT staff gather in the shop because Wi - Fi can be used.

The inside of the shop is based on white, a frugal and sophisticated atmosphere.

Goods of shops and equipment for extracting coffee were also on sale.

As far as looking around the cash register, sales of foods are few.

Seasonal espresso and drip coffee are also available, but I ordered cookies for Late ($ 4.25 · about 510 yen) for the time being.

Like a blue bottle you will be asked your name when ordering and will call your name as it gets done.

I was waiting for the coffee until I saw the inside of the shop, and portrait photographs were displayed on the wall.

Plants as large as the size of the bonsai are also on exhibition.

Because the inside of the store can use power supply and Wi-Fi, it seems that there are many people working on PC and Mac.

Late was completed before 5 minutes.

Coffee makes milk taste prominent, compared to Starbucks latte, the roast is shallow and slightly sour. Because the freshness is good, the fragrance of the beans was felt good.

For the second "FOURBARREL COFFEE", bike stands were prepared as there are many people who visit by bicycle. This shop is planning to land in Japan soon.

There are also seats outside, and there are many people enjoying coffee.

In the shop, the up tempo rock music is at a slightly louder volume, and it is quite vibrant atmosphere. There was a queue in front of the cash register.

Tasting of coffee has also been done, and professional staff guide.

The tote bag of the store was put, but it does not seem to put effort into selling goods there.

There are many trees in the shop, and art works are decorated on the wall.

Stuffed animals were also decorated.

There was a huge roaster on the back of the cash register, the craftsman was roasting coffee with a clear, the scent of coffee was drifting in the store.

Looking at the coffee in the shop, the roasting is shallower compared to Seattle coffee.

A lot of records are placed, and it seems that music is committed.

This time I ordered latte (4.50 dollars / about 540 yen).

Latte arrives in about 5 minutes to wait. I will drink it at once.

Espresso beans are also roasted slightly, but the reason is that coffee's fragrance was felt good because the food we brewed in the shop was out and the sourness was not felt so much. Since the cup has no handle, the pottery was hot and I felt it was hard to drink a little.

The third Sightglass Coffee is a glazed store.

There is a cycle stand at the entrance, and there are many people who are visiting by bicycle.

The inside of the shop is two stories, and it is rather wide.

There is a roaster in the shop, but because the shop is quite large, there was no such thing as "the smell of coffee is on."

Tote bags, coffee beans, coffee extraction equipment were sold.

As I looked at the coffee beans that I put, the roasting is slightly shallow.

Equipment for hand-dripping coffee was also prepared.

Evening sometimes, foods sold out, but the variety is substantial. This time I ordered latte ($ 4/480 yen).

The shop does not fly Wi-Fi, but many people used PCs and smartphones.

Wait 5 minutes to receive the menu and to the table. I will drink coffee at once.

Latte felt like a coffee aroma, it seems that the roast is slightly rougher than the previous two. The balance between coffee and milk was just right, and it was finished in a rich flavor.

Currently three Japanese shops decide to land in Japan only FOURBARREL COFFEE, but if you land in Japan it may be in the limelight like a blue bottle coffee.
