"UH OH Protection" announced by HTC is a service that will exchange for a new item for free within 12 months from purchase, even if it is damaged due to the user's negligence such as screen damage or submersion. The target models will be the company's smart phones "HTC One M9" and "HTC One M8", only models purchased in the United States from April 10, 2015 or August 31, 2015.
For users who did not use the service during the free exchange period for one year, a coupon of 100 dollars (about 12,000 yen) will be gifted and used at the next purchase.
What is not eligible for free replacement is "damaged in use that does not conform to the usage method described in the user manual" "IMEI / MEID number is deleted" "remodeled and repaired" "battery replaced" In other words, terminals that remodeled or repaired by users themselves, or have been used inconsistently, are not replaceable for free.
