SymantecPublished the Internet security report from 2012 to 2013. First of all, targeted attacks for corporations in 2012 increased by 42% compared to 2011. Among them, the manufacturing industry was the most easily targeted, followed by the insurance, real estate, finance, and service industries, followed by the transportation, communications, power and gas industries with the least damage. In addition, 31% of the total damage is small and medium-sized enterprises with 250 or fewer employees.


There are 5291 new vulnerabilities reported in 2012. Since it was 4989 pieces in 2011, about 300 cases increased.


93 million private information leaked annually, but this is a 60% decrease compared to 2011. The average number of individual information leaks in each industry also decreased by 1.1 million less than in 2011 to 60, 4826 cases.


An average of 30 billion spam e-mails are sent a day, which is 69% of the total e-mail. Since it was 89% in 2010 and 75% in 2011, it seems to be decreasing trend.


Also, spam on dating and sexual matters has increased to 55% of the total.

One out of 291 mails sent contains viruses.
