Free benchmark software "AS SSD Benchmark" that can measure read / write / copy / compression functions of SSD

Benchmark software that can measure the relationship between four different types of reading / writing speed, transfer speed of copied data, reading / writing speed and compression ratio is "AS SSD Benchmark"is. It is unnecessary to install and it can be started on Windows XP · Vista · 7 · 8.

Click "Download" at the bottom of the above site.


Download the downloaded ZIP fileExplzhExtract it with "AS SSD Benchmark.exe" launched.


The measurement screen will be displayed.


To start measuring reading / writing speed, click "Start".


Measurement results are compared with other PC measurement results. The results displayed are from the top, sequential access, random access in 512 KB units, random access in 4 KB units, random access in 4 KB units in 64 threads, score


To save the measurement screen, click "Screenshot" from "File" in the menu bar.


To save the measurement result in the XML format, click "File" in the menu bar and click "XML-File" from "Export".


If there is an item not to be measured, if you do not check it, that item will not be counted.


To measure the copy function, click "Copy Benchmark" from "Tools" in the menu bar.


To do the measurement, click "Start" on the displayed screen is OK.



To measure the compression function, click "Compression-Benchmark" from "Tools" in the menu bar.


The following screen is displayed, so click "Start" to start measurement.


The results are graphed like this. The vertical axis is the transfer rate and the horizontal axis is the compression ratio.
