The beauty of nature being operated in Western Sahara spreading in the Sahara desert where nobody leaves and the men who work there

Hello, Bike around the worldTakuya SAITO @ Chalidermanis. I was running in the Sahara towards Mauritania from Western Sahara. There are only small settlements and gas stations between, and the unspoiled nature spreads on overwhelming scale. Even though no one was looking at it, nature's activities continued, and every day I was just amazed at its beauty. Of course, we also have camels. The cuteness of a child camel is not extraordinary. And the men of Sahara are strong. I would like to introduce the seven days in which nobody ran in Western Sahara.

Here is Nuadibu which became the first city of Mauritania

I stayed in such a room in Ray Yuu, the main city of Western Sahara who was resting.

I have to eat properly in preparation for running from tomorrow.

Does POM (apple) juice and Pon juice look alike?

I was eating well the next day I said so. "Eat at the time of eating" That is Charida's iron rule.

Rice in a salad. Rice is treated as vegetables.

I will carry a lot of food.

ramen
canning
Raisins
cheese
Gum
Chocolate bar
sausage
Powder of powdered juice

It is a breakdown. I am worrying so I prepared a lot but I can supply it on the way.

It is 865 km to the destination and the beginning of the Sahara desert major transit.

The bicycle will advance nothing in the wilderness.

I stopped because the white ground was spreading. Probably salt lake.

More beautiful than it seems to be eroded.

It seemed that the earth melted gently.

I spend the night in the tent.

Since it is a strong wind section, I used a lot of stones for weight.

When I go to see the sea, the Atlantic Ocean is spreading everywhere.

A coastline spreading to the left.

Coastline on the other side.

I put up a tent near the sea. A crumbled hut is a wind shield.

My heart began to shake when I arrived at this place after the sunset. The stunning scenery was spreading.

The next morning, it is a picture of the same place. A cliff of the same height continues everywhere.

It was a beautiful place so I took a picture of the memorial.

However, we will proceed straight ahead.

It is a little 500km to the destination Mauritania's Nuadibe.

It is like a scene that seems to have strayed into a different star.

The coastline where cliffs continue.

Waves will shave the ground.

Then it seems that the earth cracks and falls.

If you look at this from afar, you can clearly see how erosion is occurring. A small black lump at the back of the crack is a bicycle.

Goats wandering on the gas station on the way were eating paper.

Announcement of 1430 km to the capital Dakar of Senegal has appeared. The roads in Africa are connected.

If you can not see anything that you had nothing before, you will be surprised and the coastline that you want to voice unexpectedly spreads.

Beautifully spread coastline.

I will continue camping.

A small set called El Argoub.

The next gas station is 159 km and 243 km.

A street of a road penetrates a land that can not be reached.

Clear white sand beach.

It is a quiet sandy beach.

Put a tent on the red ground.

This red was a seaweed-like plant. Moisture is stored in the body with elasticity.

I tried sleeping without setting up a tent last night in Morocco.

The area around that time is full of sand.

I longed to sleep dynamically in the nature of the Sahara desert. However, the wind is strong in this section and it does not go well. The sand blown in the wind strokes over the face even if it is wrapped in a sleeping bag. I could not sleep soundly. However, this day is a beautiful full moon. The full moon in the desert is soft and illuminates the earth and all lights are not necessary. The full moon falling ascending and descending was very mysterious.

In this section as usual I saw a lot of camels.

It seems that we close our eyes and eat grass.

A car passes between a group of camels.

The movie at that time is here.

YouTube - Flock of camels

A child camel keeping following the parent camel. I felt I found the most cute thing in the world.

A group of blue oceans and camels.

I see footprints of camels here and there.

I saw a donkey.

I also encountered amazing men.

There are lots of livestock in the truck.

Several trucks are staying.

And working men.

I took a picture together.

They were stopped at gas stations, the modern oasis of the Sahara Desert. On the contrary it continues to increase. Livestock is carried by that number seems to be 17 in all. It is said that it will go to Tiznit which is more than 1500 km away. They said "We are Sahara guy" They looked very reliable.

There was also a light truck loaded with camels at the gas station. I'm sitting neatly.

Although it behaved well, occasionally it roared the low groan voice "War, Ah", rocked the big body, moved the loading platform, resisted.

I ran about 900 km from Rayoune, the capital of Western Sahara, to Mauritania's first city, Nuadibe, at a faster pace of 6 nights 7 days. The reason why it was quick was because the trade wind called Harmattan strongly pushes back on the nearly flat road that spreads in the Sahara desert. In the area around here, sometimes a violent wind is blowing as far as not going forward. The wind leads to Black Africa.

And entered the country of 54 countries Mauritania. I will enter the city near the border of Western Sahara and Mauritania called Nuadibu. In Nuadibu there is a harbor carrying mineral resources in inland Mauritania. If you do not stay here, the next big city will be the capital city Nouakchott and can not rest. I have to take a shower.

Morocco in a developing country entered from Spain of a developed country was shocked. Everything is messy and dirty, running cars push in everywhere. After going through Europe which was long, I was worried that "I am doing from now", but I could not help it, either shopping, eating or staying, I made a trip one by one. Even if you do not have a supermarket you have to shop at a shop and you have to ask for meals without a menu in the dining room. At first it is confusing, but I got used to it somehow.

But I entered a new country. My selfishness will change from now. And I was further puzzled. "Oh, what's this?" That Morocco is seen in the city. Buildings that are about to collapse, roads covered with sand, popper cars like iron masses, scattered garbage scraps, goat bouncing it stroll around the city. Unlike Morocco, we can not rely on the assortment of shops, so I am worried whether I can do it with this.

Main street in Nuadibu city

Around the Grand Mercier (central market) that is tangling.

A goat wandering around the city.

Sand is accumulating at the edge of the road.

I rely on a guide book to settle down for a while.

We have to get used to this shocking situation as well. After leaving Nuadibu here we will run to the capital city of Nouakchott.
