According to these reports, Gianfranco Lanci, CEO of Acer, announced the e-book reader "LumiRead" at a recital held in Beijing, China.

This is the e-book reader "LumiRead". It features a 6-inch monochrome display and 2 GB memory, a MicroSD card slot, a QWERTY keyboard, a 3G communication function and a wireless LAN model that automatically adjusts the layout of every e-book readable. Scheduled to be released in the third quarter of 2010.


Also, at the recital, the high-end smartphone "Stream" which can be connected with the TV with the HDMI port corresponding to 720p movie playback and Dolby Mobile is carried also equipped with the active matrix type organic EL display.


And at the end was announced this tablet personal computer of this mystery. It has a 7-inch touch panel and QUALCOMM processor, and adopts Google's mobile phone OS "Android" as OS. It is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2010.
