No More Trespassing! Haruhi Suzumiya's High School fed up with Anime Pilgrims

A high school in Nishinomiya, known to be the model of Kenritsu Kita High School in Haruhi Suzumiya series, stated on its website that trespassing is clearly a crime and they have no intention to tolerate any more.

Taking pictures from the outside of the schoolgate is fair game, but some anime pilgrims must have been pushing it too far, stepping into school property.

Hyogo Kenritsu Nishinomiya Kita Koko(Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya North High School) is the alma mater of Nagaru Tanigawa, author of the original light novel series. As anime buffs might be able to tell from the picture above, the school building looks identical to Haruhi's school in the anime.

Notice on the top page asks outsiders to keep out of the school property, without once mentioning Haruhi Suzumiya, but we'd say it's obvious who these "people taking pictures" were.

Lately there seem to be people taking pictures inside the school. We don't mind people photographing the school from the outside, but if outsiders step into school property, it's considered a crime. From now on we'd like to deal with this problem in a strict manner and will not hesitate reporting to the police. Please understand. Thank you for your cooperation.

Following the notice above, there's another note advising the website's visitors to check out the video clip of Yasashii Bokyaku by Minori Chihara, theme song of Haruhi movie, which was shot in the school.

You can't enter the school property but the school gate from the outside looks pretty much identical to the anime. You can follow Kyon's route to school here.
