This is "Sakai No. 7-3 Ward Solar Power Plant (tentative name)"
Place is to be borrowed from Osaka prefecture at 7-3 Ward Sakai Industrial Waste Landfill Site (4 Okinawa Prefecture Nishi-ku Nishi-ku Ward Ward Ward). The area is about 20 ha, the power output is about 10 MW (about 100,000 kW), the generated electric energy is about 11 million kWh / year. Total project cost is about 5 billion yen, the construction start schedule is in 2009, the plan to start operation is in Heisei 23 year.
Another is the "Sakai Complex Solar Power Generation Facility (tentative name)"
Place is in Osaka Prefecture Sakai-ku Sakai-ku Sakai-ku, Sakai-ku, Kagoshima-hachiman-cho, with power output up to about 18 MW (about 18,000 kW), initially about 9 MW (about 900 kW) scheduled. The amount of electricity generated will be about 18 million kWh / year, the construction schedule will be March 2010 and the scheduled start of operation will be March 2011.
