It seems that the traffic of iTunes has increased to 1222% at Christmas
On the Christmas Day of 2006, iTunes Store traffic seems to have increased to 1222%, about 12.2 times compared to one week ago. This is 30 times the traffic of the content distribution site "The Zune Marketplace" of Microsoft's music player "Zune".
Does that mean that iPods are on sale this much?
Details are as follows.
ITunes Sees 1,222% Traffic Increase - News by InformationWeek
According to this article, the traffic to this iTunes Store seems to show an increase of 110% compared with the Christmas in 2005. Although it is the traffic of "The Zune Marketplace" that we compared earlier, it seems that even though it has increased by 1030% compared to one week ago, it still has 30 times difference.
The general manager of the company called Hitwise who announced the findings seems to have said that "iPod is best for Christmas gifts", but it may be true.
