The next window of Windows Vista is codenamed "Fiji"

Mary Jo Foley wrote on the ZDNet blog in the US For the general public, the development of the next Windows of Windows Vista, which will be launched next January, has started, the development code name is "Fiji" It seems to be called the name. It is said that "Fiji" next to "Vienna".

Details are as follows.
A (Microsoft) code name a day: Fiji | All about Microsoft | ZDNet.com

There are two things that can be thought of as next to Windows Vista, one is "Windows Vista R2". Or as usual "Windows Vista SP1". Aside from what it treats, "Fiji" is currently being developed as a next to Windows Vista. It seems to be the so-called minor version upgrade version.

And the next plan is the new codenamed "Vienna" which was formerly called "Blackcomb". In "Vienna", it seems that each function not installed in Vista will be restored.

There is also a rumor that the version upgrade in the kernel part is executed with "Fiji" earlier and the new interface which brings out the full function of the new kernel is implemented by "Vienna".

Although it is an interval until the next Vista comes out, apparently it is a rough guide that it will be two years later. In other words, 'Fiji' will be around 2009, 'Vienna' will be around 2011. It is not an exaggeration to say that the development of Microsoft is delayed from Windows 95, so it may be delayed further. Or be careful not to be late on the timetable, but as with Vista we can not deny the possibility that functions to be implemented will not be implemented and will be postponed.

Whatever the deployment ...... It becomes easier to use, and if it cheap, it says no.
