I tried the 'Enadori Chicken Cutlet Curry,' a limited-time curry at CoCo Ichibanya stores that uses premium chicken and a special soy sauce-based dipping sauce.

CoCo Ichibanya is a chain restaurant with locations throughout Japan, but it offers many limited-edition menu items that can only be found at select locations. I tried one of these, the ' Ena Chicken Cutlet Curry, ' at the Ena Nagashima-cho store in Ena City, Gifu Prefecture.

Arrived at Ena Station.

CoCo Ichibanya Ena Nagashima-cho store is located a little over 10 minutes' walk from the station.

The location is here.
I ordered the 'Enadori Chicken Cutlet Curry,' an original menu item created in collaboration with local ingredients and CoCo Ichibanya.

This is what the curry looks like. I chose the normal option for everything.

This chicken cutlet uses Enadori, a brand of chicken from the Ena region, and is topped with a special soy sauce made from tamari soy sauce brewed in Akechi-cho, Ena City, and thickened with fine agar-agar from Yamaoka-cho, Ena City.

The chicken cutlet is packed with meat and very satisfying, and the flavorful soy sauce-based sauce makes it a great accompaniment to rice. However, the generous amount of curry sauce surrounding it is quite spicy and has a strong flavor, so if you mix it with the special soy sauce-based sauce, the curry will overpower the other flavors. You'll need to find a good balance to enjoy it.

The 'Enadori Chicken Cutlet Curry' is 1126 yen including tax.
