Cursor for iOS is now available, allowing you to manage Cursor agent tasks from your iPhone.

The AI code editor 'Cursor' has released an iPhone app called ' Cursor for iOS '. With Cursor for iOS, you can launch agents that run continuously in the cloud, and remotely control agents running on your PC from your iPhone, allowing you to start development tasks while you're out and about and manage the work in progress from your iPhone.

Cursor's agent is an AI function that carries out coding tasks based on requests entered by developers in natural language. Developers can communicate the features they want to implement and the modifications they want to make to the agent, and send additional instructions as needed while monitoring the progress of the process.

Cursor for iOS allows you to request tasks from agents and check their progress directly on your iPhone. Once you've requested a task from an agent that runs continuously in the cloud, the agent will continue executing the task even if you close or move the app. You can also send additional instructions from your iPhone to modify the task as needed.

Furthermore, Cursor for iOS also features the ability to remotely control agents running on a PC, allowing you to manage tasks started on the desktop version of Cursor from your iPhone while you're away from home. Cursor emphasizes its ability to connect ideas to development work regardless of location.

Eric Zachariasson, co-founder of Cursor, describes a use case where 'you can input ideas that come to mind while walking into the app by voice, and when you get home, the agent has finished processing them so you can resume working from where you left off.'

According to Cursor, a campaign offering a 75% discount on 'Composer 2.5' is running within the Cursor for iOS app until July 5, 2026.
