A Chinese-made graphics card, the 'LX 7G100,' boasts performance equivalent to the RTX 3060, capable of playing various AAA games and featuring 12GB of VRAM.

Chinese hardware manufacturer Lisuan Tech began pre-orders for its LX 7G100 graphics card, which features a proprietary GPU, on May 20, 2026. The LX 7G100 has achieved benchmark scores comparable to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3060 and has sold over 30,000 units in the first 48 hours since pre-orders began.

Chinese GPU maker sells out over 30,000 gaming GPUs within 48 hours despite lukewarm benchmarks — LX 7G100 proves hype trumps performance | Tom's Hardware

Lisuan Tech was founded in 2021 by three individuals with previous experience at S3 Graphics : Xuan Yifang, Kong Dehai, and Niu Yixin. The LX 7G100 was announced in August 2025 as Lisuan Tech's first GPU product.

The LX 7G100 is being promoted as being entirely in-house designed, from the instruction set to the computing cores, rather than being an OEM product from another company. Furthermore, the GPU architecture is named 'TrueGPU Tiantu.'

This is what a graphics card equipped with the LX 7G100 looks like.

It has 12GB of VRAM and supports 8K 60fps video decoding. It also features a rendering quality optimization technology called 'NRSS,' similar to NVIDIA's DLSS and AMD's FSR.

Review videos of the LX 7G100 have been posted on the Chinese video streaming site bilibili, revealing benchmark scores and frame rates (fps) during various gameplays. The results of running 3DMark on the 'LX 7G100,' 'RTX 4060,' 'RTX 3060,' 'Arc B580,' and 'RX 6600XT' are as follows. The LX 7G100 recorded a score higher than the RTX 3060 in the Fire Strike Full HD test and recorded scores comparable to the RTX 3060 in other tests. On the other hand, there is a significant difference compared to the RTX 4060. In other words, the LX 7G100 has performance equivalent to a two-generation-old NVIDIA mid-range GPU, and has not yet caught up with a one-generation-old GPU.

Below is a comparison of frame rates when playing the same game with the 'LX 7G100,' 'RTX 4060,' 'Arc B580,' and 'RX 6600XT.' The LX 7G100 can play Cyberpunk 2077 at an average of 88fps in Full HD settings.

When playing Grand Theft Auto V in Full HD with the highest settings, the average frame rate is 150fps. This is above 120fps, making it perfectly playable.

On the other hand, frame rates can be low depending on the game. When playing Forza Horizon 5 in Full HD, the average frame rate was 48fps, falling below 60fps.

The LX 7G100 is priced at 3,299 yuan (approximately 77,000 yen), which is higher than the current generation RTX 5060. Nevertheless, it has attracted considerable attention in China, with over 30,000 units sold within 48 hours of pre-orders opening. While the LX 7G100's performance is comparable to NVIDIA's mid-range GPUs from two generations ago and inferior to current-generation GPUs, it can be considered quite successful as the company's first completely custom-designed GPU.

Lisuan Tech plans to release the 'LX ULTRA' and 'LX PRO' graphics cards, both with 24GB of VRAM, on June 18, 2026. They also plan to release the 'LX MAX,' a workstation graphics card with 12GB of VRAM.
