The English professional soccer league is changing its club emblems to Pokémon motifs to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon.

EFL , which is equivalent to the second to fourth divisions and is known as the oldest league in the world, having started in 1888. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon , the EFL changed the emblems of its clubs to Pokémon-themed ones and posted the changes on Instagram.
Wrexham AFC , the oldest professional football club in Wales, was founded in 1864 and is also known for being acquired by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The red dragon on the original emblem has been transformed into a Charizard .
West Bromwich Albion FC was one of the original members of the EFL, and former Japan national team player Junichi Inamoto once played for the club. In place of the thrush on their original emblem, a ' Poppo ' was placed.
Huddersfield Town FC , a football club that Japan national team player Yuta Nakayama once played for, is also known as the Terriers. In the original emblem , a ' Huddersfield Town ' was placed in the area where the Yorkshire terrier was featured.
