La Suite is a project that aims to create an environment that provides the 'sovereign digital tools' necessary for French public administration. By independently building office software based on open source software, the project aims to give public institutions access to document creation and video conferencing tools without relying on large foreign technology companies like Microsoft or Google.
La Suite has already launched several office products, including Tchap, an instant messaging service for the public sector that is already used by more than 600,000 civil servants.
