La Suite is a project that aims to create an environment that provides the 'sovereign digital tools' necessary for French public administration. By independently building office software based on open source software, the project aims to give public institutions access to document creation and video conferencing tools without relying on large foreign technology companies like Microsoft or Google.

La Suite has already launched several office products, including Tchap, an instant messaging service for the public sector that is already used by more than 600,000 civil servants.



Visio is a video conferencing tool hosted in France, and the French government has announced that it will introduce Visio in government agencies by 2027.

'La Suite is developed internally and is often based on other open source technologies. For example, Matrix is used as the basis for Tchap, and LiveKit is used as the basis for Visio.
