Due to the unprecedented rise in the price of LPDDR4 memory, Raspberry Pi has been forced to raise the prices of the Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 5, Compute Module 4, and Compute Module 5 with more than 2GB of memory.
The 1GB model will not see a price increase, but the 2GB model will see a $10 (approximately 1,550 yen), the 4GB model will see a $15 (approximately 2,330 yen), the 8GB model will see a $30 (approximately 4,660 yen), and the 16GB model will see a $60 (approximately 9,330 yen) price increase.
The Raspberry Pi 500 and Raspberry Pi 500+, which are all-in-one keyboard PCs, will be affected by the price increase, but the Raspberry Pi 400, the cheapest all-in-one keyboard PC, will not be affected by the price increase.

Raspberry Pi explains that 'we have several years' worth of LPDDR2 memory in stock for older models like the Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi 3, so the prices of these products will remain unchanged.'
Regarding the price increases, Raspberry Pi explained, '2026 is shaping up to be another challenging year for memory prices, but we are working hard to minimize the impact. As we have previously explained, this is a temporary situation, and we hope to remove these price increases once the situation has settled.'
