Adweek, a news outlet covering advertising, quoted an OpenAI spokesperson as saying that the beta version of ChatGPT ads will be rolled out in a limited testing area to 'identify the types of ads that are valuable to users.'

Once a more natural advertising integration is established, additional ad formats and purchasing models are planned to be added gradually, but specifics have not been disclosed.

OpenAI had previously stated that the minimum contract price was $200,000, but Adweek has learned from multiple sources that 'a lower amount was proposed.'

For example, one global brand that is expected to generate $10 billion in annual revenue in 2024 was offered around $125,000, while another digital agency was asked for $100,000.

While OpenAI's corporate value continues to rise, experts have pointed out that the company is running at a huge loss and that it needs to monetize through paid plans and advertising.
