Nissin Foods' winter-only ' Cup Noodle Winter Rich Milk Seafood Noodle ' was released on Monday, December 8, 2025. Based on the 'Seafood Noodle' soup, which is flavored with seafood and pork bones, the addition of Hokkaido-produced milk powder has resulted in a creamy, rich taste with a sweet and rich flavor.

The ingredients are as follows: The soup is made with milk as the main ingredient, vegetable oil, skim milk powder, creaming powder, starch, pork seasoning, wheat flour, chicken seasoning, sugar, salt, powdered soy sauce, garlic seasoning, vegetable seasoning, spices, protein hydrolyzate, clam seasoning, vegetable seasoning, fish sauce, and pork seasoning oil. The toppings are cabbage, seasoned eggs, squid, fish paste, carrots, and green onions.

The soup has a strong seafood flavor, but even more so, it has a rich milky flavor. The umami of the seafood and pork bones gives the soup a body and a strong saltiness, but it also has a milky, mellow texture.

The noodles were just as smooth and supple as always. I waited three minutes before mixing them well with chopsticks, but the white powder, which I assumed was milk powder, was only half-melted, and it clung to the noodles like melted cheese. The strong umami flavor left a lasting aftertaste, and the texture was satisfying, making this the perfect Cup Noodles to enjoy on a cold day.

I compared it with the regular seafood noodles (left), and the seafood flavor was stronger in the regular version. The winter rich milk seafood noodles (right) had a rich milk flavor, while the seafood noodles were lighter.
