The US Semiconductor Manufacturing Assistance and Science Act (

CHIPS Act ) has led to massive investments in semiconductor companies, including TSMC, which has announced investments of over $100 billion (15 trillion yen) in US semiconductor manufacturing plants, producing chips for major tech companies such as Apple and AMD.

Furthermore, President Trump's push for domestic semiconductor manufacturing has created momentum for semiconductor manufacturing in the United States.

'For the very first time in recent American history, the most important semiconductors will be manufactured in America at TSMC's cutting-edge fab,' NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said during a tour of the TSMC facility.

'This first shipment of American-made Blackwell chips just a few years after our Arizona expansion marks a major milestone for TSMC,' said TSMC CEO Lei Chuang.
