I tried benchmarking the Google genuine smartphones 'Pixel 10', 'Pixel 10 Pro', and 'Pixel 10 Pro XL' on the actual device and measured the temperature to see how hot it gets

Google's smartphones, the Pixel 10 , Pixel 10 Pro , and Pixel 10 Pro XL , were released on August 28, 2025. All three models are equipped with Google's Tensor G5 SoC, so we were curious to see the performance differences between the standard and Pro models. We ran several benchmark apps to see how the performance of the three models stacked up against previous models.

The appearance of the Pixel 10 series is examined in detail in the article below. While the overall appearance is similar to the Pixel 9 series, it has new features such as 'the Pixel 10 is equipped with three rear cameras despite being an unbranded model' and 'magnets embedded in the back allow you to easily attach accessories such as wireless chargers.'

We took a closer look at the dimensions and appearance of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, and found a wireless charger compatible with the Pixelsnap, which attaches perfectly to the phone with a magnet.

The specs for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are summarized in the table below. All three models use the Tensor G5 SoC, but the RAM capacity differs: the standard model has 12GB, while the Pro model has 16GB.

I was curious about the actual performance difference, so I ran the popular benchmark app ' Geekbench 6 ' to measure the processing performance.

The graph below summarizes the CPU test (single-core) results for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. For reference, we also performed the test on the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The highest score was 2312 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, followed by the Pixel 10 (2309) and Pixel 10 Pro (2312). There is no significant difference between the standard and Pro models, and the results are roughly flat.

The multi-core test results are as follows: the Pixel 10 scored 6221, the Pixel 10 Pro scored 6404, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL scored 6204.

I will also try running ' AnTuTu Benchmark '.

The overall scores were 1,344,281 for the Pixel 10, 1,248,293 for the Pixel 10 Pro, 1,354,473 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and 1,238,528 for the Pixel 9 XL. Just because it's a Pro model doesn't mean it has high processing power, as all three Pixel 10 models recorded similar scores. The Pixel 9 Pro XL also recorded a fairly high score, but considering

its initial score of 919,327 , it's likely that the Pixel 10 series will see performance improvements through future optimizations, greatly increasing the gap between it and older models.

I was also curious about the temperature under heavy load, so I used the FLIR i3 infrared thermography device to measure the temperature while running AnTuTu Benchmark in a room with a room temperature of 28°C. The top of the Pixel 10's display rose to 39.1°C.

On the back, the temperature near the camera bar rose to 38.0 degrees.

The Pixel 10 Pro's display surface is 39.4 degrees.

On the back, the angle near the camera bar is 37.4 degrees.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL's display surface is 37.4 degrees.

The temperature around the camera bar reached 36.8°C. None of the models get hot enough to feel 'hot,' so they can be used comfortably even for high-load applications such as gaming.

As mentioned above, there is no significant difference in processing performance between the Pixel 10 series. Therefore, when buying a Pixel 10 series, you will need to prioritize 'camera performance' and 'battery performance.' A detailed review article on camera performance will be published soon, so please stay tuned.
