The main visual was set up in front of Tokyo Big Sight. It looked like there were no people there because everyone was keeping a certain distance to take pictures, making it look like a photo shoot.

The number of visitors this year was 152,400, 115% higher than last year, with roughly one in ten visitors being from overseas.

◆Food Park
At the back of East Hall 7 is the 'Food Park.' At participating stores, you can get one AnimeJapan exclusive coaster with each purchase.

This time, I received a coaster from the original anime ' LAZARU ,' which will start airing in April 2025.
For dessert, I chose a waffle crepe. The coaster this time was from the anime series '

There is also an Adventurer's Guild within the Food Park, where you can take on quests that will reward you with special items.

Adventurer meals can be ordered regardless of quests.

So I ordered the 'grilled chicken leg (700 yen),' 'meat and vegetable stew with crusty bread (1000 yen),' and 'cream and ginger fizzy drink (500 yen).' The 'grilled chicken leg,' recommended by the guild's older brother, was a fairly large piece. The meat was also very filling, with a lot of meat that wasn't fatty. The fizzy drink reminded me of 'after you've ordered a ginger ale float and the ice cream has melted,' with the sweetness of the cream enveloping the ginger ale.

The 'Meat and Vegetable Stew' has large portions and is very satisfying. It comes with bread so you can dip it into the stew until the very end.

◆ 'Netflix Special Stage'
At the BLUE STAGE, the 'Netflix Special Stage' was held, where new information about current and upcoming streaming titles on Netflix was revealed.

◆ 'Ranma 1/2' Stage
At the ShoPro booth, a talk event was held with

The talk included questions submitted in advance through X about both the 'Heisei version,' which aired from 1989 to 1992, and the 'Reiwa version,' which is set to air 32 years later in 2024 and have a second season due to be produced. The three actors, who all played the same roles in the 'Heisei version,' showed great chemistry between them.
The messages from each of them are as follows.
Rei Sakuma:
I don't really know how people feel about my work unless I actually interact with them, so I was happy to see everyone watching today reacting with a smile, knowing that my message is getting through to them. Please continue to enjoy watching everyone sweating and struggling. I want to keep going until I see the words 'Extra Time' on the screen (laughs).
Noriko Hidaka:
For everyone who enjoyed the first season of 'Ranma 1/2,' it's going to get even more interesting from now on. There are a ton of characters to look forward to, and each one is giving a tremendous performance. I'm already excited every time I do a voice recording, so I hope everyone will look forward to it.
Kappei Yamaguchi:
Thank you so much for gathering here today. Ranma 1/2 has been revived after 32 years, and the second season is even more exciting than ever. It's really getting more and more interesting, so I hope we can all get excited together. I look forward to your continued support.
All 12 episodes of the first season of the anime 'Ranma 1/2' are currently available on Netflix and other streaming services. At the ShoPro booth, they are handing out collaboration stickers between the movie '
