When I peeled off the top and assembled the pop parts on the side, the words 'Dark Hanayagi' appeared on the front.
The ingredients were listed in the following order: processed oil and fat foods, wheat flour, semi-chocolate, sugar, shortening, vegetable oil, chocolate, cocoa cookies, matcha, and gyokuro.
One stick (standard size 22g) contains 120kcal.
I put it next to the regular Black Thunder. On the package, the words 'The Rich' and 'The Essence of Matcha' stand out more than the word 'Black Thunder.'
When you take the contents out, you can see that the bumps are different from normal ones, but it would be difficult to tell at a glance that it is matcha flavored.
The difference is clear when you look at the cross section. When you eat it, the first bite has a chocolate coating and a crunchy texture, so the difference is 'Is it the same as a normal Black Thunder? Is the texture a little different?', but after two or three bites, the matcha flavor hidden behind the chocolate spreads in your mouth. Because it is wrapped in chocolate, the bitterness of matcha is considerably reduced, but the flavor that remains in your mouth and goes up your nose is definitely matcha.
