Introducing the Nintendo Switch.
The left and right Joy-Con will separate.
The body becomes huge.
USB-C port on the bottom
Power button and volume button on the top
There appears to be a USB-C port on the top as well. There is also an earphone jack.
Two lines on the back.
This was a stand.
It looks like the main body can be fixed in multiple stages.
The Joy-Con controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be this big. The basic button layout seems to be almost unchanged.
The bottom of the joystick turns pink.
In addition, the part that attaches to the main body is also pink.
The A/B/X/Y buttons remain the same.
There are also strap parts that can be attached when using the Joy-Con separately.
There is a round object on the top of the strap part, but it is unclear whether it is some kind of button or just a decorative element.
The left and right sides of the main body look like this.
With the Nintendo Switch, you attach the Joy-Con by sliding it on, but in the trailer it looked like the Nintendo Switch 2 and Joy-Con would be attached with magnets.
It looks like this.

This is what it looks like when playing the game.
Of course, there is also a dedicated dock.
Output to a monitor is also possible. Like the Nintendo Switch, it seems that parts for attaching Joy-Con to turn it into a controller are also included.
Scheduled to appear in 2025
It seems that Nintendo Switch 2 can play Nintendo Switch software, but some software may not be compatible.
Further information will be announced during the Nintendo Direct broadcast on April 2, 2025.
