Game accessory manufacturer Satisfye has announced the grip attachment ' ZenGrip 2 ', which is scheduled to be released after the release of the Nintendo Switch 2. Satisfye has released a preview video for ZenGrip 2, but it has been pointed out that the appearance of the Nintendo Switch 2 is shown as it is. Perhaps due to the influence of the criticism, the preview video for ZenGrip 2 has been deleted at the time of writing.

Below is an image cut out from one scene of the trailer video. The image is blurry and does not clearly show the appearance of the game console, but game media GamesRadar+ points out that 'it looks the same as a regular Nintendo Switch.' GameSpot also reported that 'it seems to suggest that the Nintendo Switch 2 will adopt the same design and form factor as the original Nintendo Switch.'




Satisfye distributed marketing materials for ZenGrip 2 on December 6th, as shown in the image below. Here you can see the words 'Get ready for the next generation console' and 'Top Secret'. Another marketing material for ZenGrip 2 states 'Ergonomic hand position and ultimate gaming experience for the next generation Nintendo Switch,' GameSpot reported.



The ZenGrip 2 is already available for pre-order at the time of writing, with prices starting at $49.99 (approximately 7,600 yen). Shipping is scheduled for spring 2025, but it is unclear whether the Nintendo Switch 2 will be released by then.

Furthermore, the ZenGrip 2 product page states that the design shown is a 'projected design' and that the design will be 'adjusted to meet final specifications.'

Although Satisfye's product page does not mention the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo at all, it does feature an icon that says 'Made For Next Gen Console,' which GameSpot points out looks very similar to the Nintendo Switch.



GameSpot also noted that Nintendo plans to officially announce the Nintendo Switch 2 by the end of March 2025, when Nintendo's current fiscal year ends.
