'Expelled from Paradise' is an original CG animated film produced by animation director Seiji Mizushima, screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, and animation production company Toei Animation.

It was announced that a sequel, 'Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart,' will be produced in January 2024, 10 years after the film's release, and a teaser trailer has now been released. The film is scheduled to be released in 2026.

In addition, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the film's release, a two-week limited revival screening of 'Expelled from Paradise - Impelled by 10th Anniversary-' will be held from Friday, November 15th to Thursday, November 28th, 2024. Director Mizushima, Rie Kugimiya, who plays the main character Angela Balzac, and Shinichiro Miki, who plays Dingo, appeared on stage to greet the audience.
