I tried the soft serve ice cream 'Kikyo Shingen Soft +' topped with Kikyo Shingen Mochi at the Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory Theme Park.

The head office and factory are open to the public as the 'Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory Theme Park,' and you can eat things like ' Kikyo Shingen Soft + ,' which is a soft serve ice cream topped with Kikyo Shingen Mochi, so I went there and tried it.

The Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory Theme Park is located in Tsuboi, Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki-shi, Yamanashi Prefecture. If you are traveling by car, it is close to the Ichinomiya-Misaka Interchange on the Chuo Expressway.
The exterior of the Kikyo Shingen Mochi factory looks like this.
You can eat sweets made with Kikyo Shingen Mochi at Theme Park Cafe, located to the east of the factory. On the map below, the Theme Park Cafe is located at number 12.
There were three types of sweets on sale: 'Premium Kikyo Shingen Soft' made with matcha soft ice cream, 'Kikyo Shingen Soft +' made with vanilla soft ice cream topped with Kikyo Shingen mochi and
This is 'Kikyou Shingen Soft +'. The waffle cone seems to be very fragile, so the staff member said, 'Please make sure to hold the bottom.'
The soft serve ice cream is topped with plenty of brown sugar syrup.
The Kikyo Shingen Mochi is ice cold from touching the soft serve ice cream and has a slightly hard texture. As you put it in your mouth and roll it around, it gradually softens and becomes gooey. It's sweet and cold and delicious.
This is Kikyo Shingen Bo. It has a harder texture than a donut and a softer texture than Sata Andagi. Both Kikyo Shingen Mochi and Kikyo Shingen Bo have the taste of brown sugar and kinako, so the whole soft serve has a brown sugar and kinako taste.
The waffle cone is very fragile, so be careful not to spill the melted ice cream.
Since it was possible to tour the Kikyo Shingen Mochi factory, I took the opportunity to check it out.
You can observe the process of Kikyo Shingen Mochi being made from a high vantage point.
Kikyo Shingen Mochi's distinctive furoshiki-style packaging was tied by hand.

You can also see how the Kikyo Shingen Mochi is completed in the following movie.
There is also a shop inside the Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory Theme Park, selling a variety of sweets such as Kikyo Shingen Mochi and Kikyo Shingen Nama Pudding. In addition, you can fill up your Kikyo Shingen Mochi with as much as you want, but the service requires a ticket system and there was a sign saying 'Ticket distribution ended at 6am,' so if you want to fill up your Kikyo Shingen Mochi with as much as you want, you'll need to line up very early in the morning.
