This is what happens when you watch the explosion of 'melted salt' in super slow motion

The Slow Mo Guys on YouTube channel shows footage taken with a super high performance slow motion camera of what happens when you put salt dissolved in water.

The hosts, Gab (left) and Dan (right), appeared.

Place the salt in a crucible and heat it.

Heat to 1474 degrees Fahrenheit (801 degrees Celsius).

The molten salt produced in this way is then immersed together with the crucible into a tank filled to the brim with water.

Exploded with force.

The tank will collapse.

The second time, the crucible was inverted over a water bath and only molten salt was added.

As soon as the molten salt came into contact with the water, a powerful splash occurred and steam was seen to spread instantly.

Gab and Dan summed up, 'This experiment was a lot of fun. We discovered that the more salt you add, the more destruction it causes. The steam instantly creates pressure, and the water has nowhere to go, causing an explosion.'
