The main character is Yuma Kokohead. He is a member of the World Detective Organization, a global organization of detectives who aim to solve unsolved cases. Next to him is Shinigami-chan, who for some reason made a contract with Yuma. The story begins with Yuma losing his memory due to the effects of his contract with Shinigami-chan. There is also a chapter 0, which is actually a prologue, but I will skip that this time.
At the behest of the World Detective Organization, Yuma has taken refuge at a detective agency in Kanai District, an autonomous region controlled by the global corporation Amaterasu Corporation.
Yakou Furio runs the only detective agency in Kanai Ward. Amaterasu Corporation and the World Detective Agency are on bad terms, and in Kanai Ward, where Amaterasu Corporation keeps a close eye on things, detectives are an oppressed profession. For this reason, Yakou has set up his detective agency inside a submarine to avoid attacks from Amaterasu Corporation.
At that time, he receives an order from Number 1, the head of the World Detective Agency, to uncover the Kanai District's biggest secret.
So, while running an errand for Yakou to call the 'super detectives,' he wanders around the town of Kanai Ward gathering information.
In the exploration part, you can run around in Kanai Ward, where there are several points you can check and talk to, and checking these will give you detective points. There is no time limit for exploring the town, so you can run around freely and investigate wherever you like.
The detective points you collect can be used to improve Yuma's skills.
Yuma and Shinigami-chan explore the city like this. However, Shinigami-chan is generally invisible to everyone except Yuma.
The super detectives are spotted having breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
However, as there is still a super detective who has yet to be found, upon leaving the hotel, they discover that a murder has occurred in a clock tower in a corner of town.
When they rushed to the scene, they found the watchmaker arrested as a suspect, and his son, a boy, protesting his innocence. The scene was being handled by the Amaterasu Security Division, the law enforcement agency for the Kanai district, and Yuma, who went to rescue his son, was almost taken away along with him.
Then the super detective Harara Nightmare appears.
With the help of Harala, he decides to solve the mystery for the boy.
So, we head to the clock tower where the crime took place.
At the scene, you can investigate various points, including the body.
The results of your investigation will be filed with you as the 'solution.'
We will search for any traces left at the scene and conduct a thorough investigation.
When they return to the detective agency after completing their investigation at the crime scene, they find the Amaterasu Company security department storming in, angry that the crime scene has been vandalized. If they don't solve the mystery within the time limit, the detective agency is in danger of being destroyed.
Apparently, there have been similar murders in the past, so they head to the scene of the past crimes, but of course, the scene has already been neatly restored.
This is when Harara's special ability, 'past vision,' kicks in. In fact, 'super detectives' belonging to the World Detective Organization are detectives who possess supernatural 'special detective abilities' that are useful for investigations and deductions.
Harara's ability has allowed the 'scene at the exact moment witnessed by the first person to see it' to be recreated. By investigating this scene, further information can be gathered.
Yuma boasts that after investigating all the crime scenes, he will return to the submarine and catch the real culprit!
Now that all the evidence has been collected during the exploration part, it's time for Death God, who has been with us the whole time, to take action.
Suddenly, Shinigami-chan creates something like a warp hole that leads to another dimension.
Then, Death God-chan transforms into her true form, a sexy beautiful girl with twin tails.
Shinigami-chan's ability is the ability to interfere with the 'Mystery Labyrinth', a place where mysteries are materialized.
Yuma and his friends aim to uncover the truth by conquering this mysterious labyrinth.
To uncover the truth, Yuma needs the 'Kaito' sword that only he can wield.
The strategy part of the mystery labyrinth basically involves moving around and solving the mysteries you come across.
Because the Mystery Maze is the embodiment of a mystery, small puzzles will block your path along the way, and each time you will need to use the clues you have obtained during your investigation so far to make deductions and solve the mystery.

The mystery that is the core of the scenario is of high quality and very well made, but as you explore the city and conquer the mysterious labyrinth, you will be able to develop your deductions at the same time, such as 'Huh? Maybe something is wrong here?' or 'I guess that guy is suspicious after all.' You will not be 'exploring without knowing much, and the truth will be revealed without knowing much.' The difficulty of the mystery itself is not that high in the beginning, and 'if you like mysteries, you may be able to realize the truth at a fairly early stage.'
