Let's start with visionOS.

Apple Vision Pro inspires you to create creative spatial apps.

NBA app that lets you watch live broadcasts and stats for multiple games

'What If...?' - Become a Superhero in the Marvel World

'UNEXTINCT' lets you explore the world of endangered species

There are games that use the space around you to completely immerse you, and apps that allow you to simulate surgery.

There are already over 2,000 apps specifically for Apple Vision Pro, and when you include apps for iPhones and iPads that are compatible with Apple Vision Pro, the total number of available apps is over 1.5 million.

The latest OS for Apple Vision Pro is visionOS 2.

visionOS 2 introduces powerful new developer APIs for dramatically improved productivity and immersive shared experiences.

Let's start with the photo app.

With just the tap of a button using a photo already in your library, visionOS 2 uses advanced machine learning to generate bi-ocular views from a 2D image, creating a natural spatial photo with depth.

It's a magical experience to go back in time and bring home cherished photos.

visionOS 2 makes operation even easier.

Raise your palm and tap to open the home view.

Flip it over to see the time and battery level, or get quick access to features like notifications and Mac Virtual Display.

You can also wirelessly bring your Mac into Apple Vision Pro just by looking at it.

This means you can now have a portable, private, large 4K display.

This is expected to evolve further later this year, with displays having higher resolution and size.

Introducing ultra-wide displays that are even larger and envelop the user.

The new wide display is said to be equivalent to two 4K monitors placed side-by-side.

Another attractive feature of Apple Vision Pro is its use on airplanes.

Apple Vision Pro is like having your own private cinema wherever you go.

With visionOS 2, travel mode is now compatible with trains, allowing you to watch movies and enjoy video content on the train.

Volumetric APIs enable the concurrency of extremely complex 3D apps.

TabletopKit is a software development kit that helps developers develop apps for fixed, flat surfaces.

For example, it can be useful for developing manufacturing workstations or board games.

Enterprise API is also available, enabling powerful uses.

It will be useful in developing apps that are useful for things like surgical training in medicine and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

It makes creating spatial videos much easier.

Capture spatial video easily with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In addition to this, a spatial lens will be released that will enable you to shoot spatial video with the Canon EOS R7.

Edit spatial videos with Final Cut Pro for Mac, then share and watch them with the Vimeo app for visionOS.

About 'Immersive Video', a 360-degree VR video.

Collaborating with BlackMagic Design, we developed a new video production workflow using Blackmagic cameras, DaVinci Resolve Studio and Apple Compressor.

You can also enjoy a variety of other titles on the Apple TV app.

visionOS 2 offers powerful new developer APIs and more.

The Apple Vision Pro is scheduled to be released in Japan on June 28, 2024.

Additionally, it is scheduled to be released in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the UK on July 12, 2024.
