According to 9to5Google, a foreign media outlet that handles Google-related information, Google's official phone app is testing a feature called 'Audio Emoji' that sends sound effects during a call. Audio Emoji can be sent by tapping 'Audio Emoji' that appears at the bottom of the call screen.
Audio Emoji supports six emojis: 'claps,' 'crying with joy,' 'party,' 'crying,' 'poop,' and 'drums.' Among the more innocuous expressions is the more aggressive 'poop.'
When you tap on each emoji, an animation with a sound effect will play and the sound effect will be sent to the person you are calling. For example, if you tap on the clapping emoji, the sound 'cheers' will play along with the clapping animation.
Tapping 'Cry' will play a rain animation along with a sad sound effect.
When you tap 'poop,' an animation of brown soft serve ice cream falling will play along with the sound of a fart.
The brown soft serve ice cream falls to the floor with a splatter, brown droplets splattering onto the screen.
The Audio Emoji feature, including the poop button, is currently being tested in a beta version of Google's official phone app and will be available to all users in version 128, which will be released in the coming weeks.
