Delta was released on the App Store on April 17, 2024, just after Apple updated its review guidelines. It was so popular that it reached number one in the download rankings in the United States shortly after its release. Testut also released a third-party app store called AltStore PAL, which is only available in the EU, where he also released GBA4iOS and Delta.

According to Testut, Delta was originally planned to be released only on AltStore PAL, but due to changes in Apple's review guidelines, it will be distributed on the App Store as well, and the iPad version will be released in the next major update, version 1.6.

Additionally, users have been asking for support for multiplayer across devices, and Testut responded by saying, 'Just like you all, we're excited about this! We have some really exciting ideas planned, but it's going to take some time to implement them all.' He went on to say that in the short term, support for and improvements to the iPad version will be prioritized, and then work will begin on implementing multiplayer functionality.
